It's A Thread! - Admiral Ackbar Costume?

Hey, all! I'm new to all this, so please forgive me. I've been looking to get a quality Admiral Ackbar costume together for quite some time, but I have no idea how to start. All the masks I find on eBay are trashy and cheap looking, but I want something that actually LOOKS like Ackbar! The hands are something else, too. Please let me know how I could start off with this!
