After 15 months my unit is done with its rotation in Iraq. I got back to Germany where I'm stationed on the 21st.

I must admit, it's really weird being back. I'm happy to be back, but at the same time nothing feels right. I still look for my weapon when I get ready to go somewhere, when I'm at the chow hall I still reach for my weapon when I'm done, ect. When I'm out and about the whole time it feels like I'm forgetting something because I don't have my weapon, Force Pro(tection) ammo, ect. Military vehicles have to be ground guided when backing up and when I'm in a car with someone I still get out to ground guide. It's funny, and an annoyance at the same time. lol
