How were these made?

I'm open to anything . . . I was pretty much just going for a star wars'ish feel from like the DL-44 and the pistol that look carried in ESB.

You think it would look better on top? Either way, do you have any ideas for an attractive way to mount it or would the small pieces of PVC be sufficient?

Well . . . after cutting the mag down it will be MUCH easier to deal with a holster now. However, I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna go without the scope on top, I like the low profile of the original blasters which was my goal . . . and now that the mag is smaller, I don't need something on top to even out the blaster. I guess it's time to start sanding, bondo'ing, sanding, bondo'ing, sanding, priming, sanding, painting!
