Am I alone here? I just finished playing the Tom Clancy HAWX flight sim on XBOX 360 and have a question.
How is it possble for a company to make a flight sim game where you don't take off or land, not once? Would anyone stand for a racing game where there was no start or finish, you just spawned mid race?
The game was ok, nice graphics, plenty of planes, decent missions, but is taxing down a runway, taking of, landing, mid-air refueling, and trying to hit the deck of an aircraft carrier not some of the most fun during a flight sim? It is for me!
Ever since I transiton from PC to XBOX gaming I have longed for class act flight sim, some have come close, but these exclusions in HAWX are ridiculous. These are some of the most basic, integral elements of a flight sim and not a one!
And can't someone make a decent chopper sim? I'm about ready to bust out the Tandy 1000 and play Apache Gunship.
What gives?
