Got a new project. Picked up a Shore Trooper Helmet from KB Props. Time to get this build going.

Going to have Boba and a Shore Trooper costume at Celebration 2020

Dermal work on the visor area and other parts. Sanding and filler is next my favorite part of prep work. Not.

A lot of sanding done but far from finished with the prep. Spot glazed the low spots. Let this dry good and sand them down. Still a few areas to fill on the second round.

Ok got the hard hat liner mounted with the attachment clips cut out of a old hard hat. Did a sand and wash. And sprayed the primer layer on.

Was not happy with the first primer coats. So I sanded the helmet down and used a different primer. So much better.

Yes I am going to be following Mr Paul’s Shore Trooper Build.

Sprayed the brown layer per Mr. Paul's Shore Trooper build. I used a rustoleum satin espresso brown. That is what the screen resin casts were brown resin.

Masked off areas and applied some Humbrol masking fluid for some damage. And sprayed the Montana Gold Sahara Beige.

Thanks. Yah ever since Rouge One came out and saw the Shore Troopers. Always liked them Next my favorite Boba of course. Want to have this one done by Celebration 2020.

Removed the masking. Mounted the snout and heatsinks. Painted some of the black areas. Glued and clamped the visor on. Going to let the clamps set for 24 hrs.

Did a color mix for the emblem red and orange. Somebody called it spicy orange on My Paul’s thread.

Got all the black details painted and painted the emblem on. Ready for the weathering next.

Did the weathering today used some burnt umber, black, charcoal acrylic paints thinned with windex. Sand paper scuffs in areas. Also used a 3m pad. Next is to mount the visor when fully dry. 1st pic is before weathering.
