I know this probably been posted a gahzillion times, but which ones do everyone use? I tried those meronas that people are talking about but they were a little tight on my hands. They were a size L/XL. So, for people with bigger hands, what do y'all use?

Cut the liners out of those gloves and then they will stretch and are more wearable.

I use the XL Merona gloves with the liners cut out and they work great. The only negative is you hands will have some dye on them after a long troop.

I can deal with smurf hands. It's the soul crushing death grip I'm concerned with. If they have anymore when Ig o back, I'll pick up a few.

Any luck finding those Navy Blue Merona gloves? All I have been able to find are the ones with the black palms.

I got my merona gloves off ebay from Target

Thanks, Guess I'll go with those for now. Hopefully those are just sewn buttons and not snaps. Just don't want to have holes in the leather. I'll post back once they arrive and let everybody know.

I just ordered these. seems like the size goes bigger than the Merona gloves and I'm thinking the longer cuff will make it easier to keep tucked under the gauntlet also.

Just got them in they look great and are the right length but the XXXL is a size 9 women's so they are rather tight (I can hear and feel things cracking in my hand if I make a fist). So just like the other gloves you will have to cut the liners out if you have larger hands.

Are the Merona gloves Navy blue or Teal in color? The Azrok comparison thread lists the color as Teal. But target.com has Navy colored ones for sale at the moment. No Teal colored ones though.

After a little closer inspection, they only list the S/M sizes of merona navy blue gloves in stock for ordering. So I couldn't use them anyways even if the color was correct. :cry

You want the Navy gloves. One thing I do is cut the liners out to get a bit of extra room. I normally get the large or extra large and cut out the liners. It may turn your hands blue but it is worth to get the fit.

Thanks for the help though I doubt even cutting the liners out of the S/M sized gloves would fit me. Im pretty sure I would need the L/XL ones. But at least now I know to get the Merona's in Navy Blue when they become available.


Has anyone ever tried wearing a really thin spandex-like or some other sort of breathable thin material gloves inside a liner-less merona to avoid smurf hands?

You need to get rid of the three "bridges" on the top of the glove if you're going with those.



You can see on the picture with Temuera that it's 100% flat.
