ghalgor's ESB build

New Hunter
Hi all

I have started to build my ESB Fett. I will be using Rafalfett's 3D models for as much as possible. I have completed a very rough helmet to get the size, as my head is pretty big . I will have to print it larger Not sure yet to how my armour will be put together (I have sent emails to get quotes) or if I build my own. The cod piece and kidney belt scare the living bantha poodo out of me to have to try and build. Here are a couple of pics of what I have done so far.

(remember this is just a sizing print and I don't know why this is side ways)

Good luck! I'll be following this thread too. I have some armour up on the cargo hold however it needs some work, just some resizing on the shoulders and knees. They're also dentless and regardless of being painted TOTJ style you could sand it off and repaint.

However it's no Bobamaker! Just thought I'd put it out there if you're interested :)

Thanks for the heads up. I am actually looking at RS at the moment, they seem to be good and there is a free shipping deal that I was offered, so at this point my armour is completed, just the waiting game.

Awesome start! I was trying to print with Rafals stuff, but I had no clue how to chop an object up lol any tips for that? Can't wait to see more progress!

I spent a couple of hours teaching myself one night. I use netfabb basic (free) and used youtube videos as a guide. I probably need to reslice for my final print and then I am going to attempt to vacuum form the 8 pieces into just 2. But sourcing the abs here in Australia is difficult. I am currently printing off the sonic beam weapon.

Nice. Looks like Boba Fett as sponsored by John Deere, lol.

1st 3D printed bucket I've seen and it looks better than I thought one might!

Good job so far!
