I used a piece of plexiglas and bened that, the entire inside of the "chamber"is almost entirly kitted (bondo that glues) so that's pretty rigid... it's the point at the handle that goes into the chamber  just at the edge of the wooden grip where it broke.


got like thousands of tips on how to fix it, with kit, glue, bondo etc.. but it's never going to last very long, so I may fix it someday with some aluminium plates on both sides and screw them together, but even that it will be for display only I gues..
