ESB Helmet Commission for Abailey1

Board member Abailey1 has commissioned me to paint his Asok CC FP helmet in an ESB paint scheme. Base colors have been applied. Next step: the kill stripes.

Whose decal paper are you using? I have a bunch of the Testors stuff but I find that it curls up and sticks to itself whenever I use it.

The rf looks awesome. Would look even better with a light kit in it lol. Anywho so far it looks great. I wish I had any kind of painting talent.

The decals make the big scrape across the top of the dome look like a jumping horse.
That's what I'm going to call that scrape from now on.

Necronaut- I get my decal paper off of eBay from Robin's Eggcetera. The back of the paper just says 'inkjet/clear decal paper'.

I am looking to put a light kit in the RF and a servo for the stalk. Any ideas?

I make a light kit for the Asok topper. I will be doing another run soon. There is a sales thread in the cargo hold.

Spent the last hour and a half painting the silver on the cat scratch. I am now officially bleary eyed!

Helmet looks great so far! Once the decals are on, is it easy to remove them?
