I ordered a Blaster from Cosplay Props on FB, https://www.facebook.com/Cosplay-Props-450454064995750/?fref=ts $250 shipped. He makes everything from a 3D printer using a "heavy duty plastic type resin". His stuff on FB looked pretty good so I ordered one and a week later it arrived. I was out of town, so my wife sent some pictures, and initially I was pleased.
Now, he advertised it as "finished". When I got a closer look, I could see it was going to take some work to get it up to snuff.
It is a nice print, and everything fits together pretty solid. It also comes with a working scope. I've got everything torn apart, and plan on hitting everything with some sandpaper and primer. Shouldn't be too much work, and I think it'll come out pretty nice when I'm done with it.
Oh, forgot to add, the hammer and trigger both move.

Worked on the gauntlets today.
This is the electronic package Ian put together. The front switch powers the LED in the right gauntlet, and the rear switch communicates with a servo, via Bluetooth that will go in the helmet.
I'm joining the gauntlet halves with elastic. It stretches just enough for me to get my hand through. These are MOW gauntlets and are pretty roomy, so I'll be installing some foam to make them fit better.
The whipcord housing and flame thrower were attached by two small screws from the inside.
Now it's time to weather.

Don't forget to trim the end of that housing that you have the dowel rod inserted into. The part with the arrow on it needs to be cut off.

Are you referring to the red around the square greeblie on the stock? It's there, it just came out looking silver in the picture, for some reason. Or are you referring to something else? Thanks.

I think he may mean the butt stock being a stained look rather than painted black. I see the greeblie being red as one other observation, the handle bling of gold, and your leather strap also appearing black. It still looks very nice assembled!

Raf should prob chime it to your response, but I see a few things.
Your scope looks to be incorrect, it should be "backward"..hard to tell though from the picture.
The black weathering/paint on the flash tube should not be all at the front, the front of the tube is more chrome (if not all chrome) and goes more black towards the rear.
Also, your flash tube looks a bit short, I could be wrong (needs to be about 4 1/2" in length).
Your disc/pushrod greeblie is a bit high, needs to come down a bit.
I'd throw some dry brushing or misting of flat black on the grip too. Looks far too clean.
