ESB Blaster stock greebs color?

Just recieved my MOW greebs. So what's the best colors to paint these babies? any ideas.

ok well the split plugs should be black with just alittle white chipping off the edges. and the block should be black with a dirty dark red all around the rim of the box.

Apparently the box shaped greeblie was originally a electronic circuit box that had a red anodized finish to it. This is also the route that was taken on the "JB PROJECT" rifle build up.

The split plugs were originally off-white plastic.

The square piece was actually bright red plastic.
All the pieces were weathered with black paint.

Chris, do you know what the original piece was?
All the ref pics I've seen sure make it look like a red or red/orangey anodized aluminum.

I'm currently researching it.
I know it's red plastic because of first hand observation (not from the Fett blaster, but another prop).
