EMERGENCY! IN NEED OF PAINTED ROTJ KNEES FOR CV!

It's getting down to the wire, and I just had a HUGE setback.

The silver paint on my knees is making the yellow paint crack REAL bad, so, begging from the bottom of my heart, does ANYONE have ROTJ (or ESB, hell, it doesnt matter) knees that are painted, ready to go with elastic? I show up to Orlando Wed., so if anyone wanted to meet up Wed or Thurs, then that would be fantastic.

You can't just repaint them?? What Silver are you using?

Testors bright silver. It was the fact that the silver was applied too heavily, so the oils from made the yellow crack. If I painted them tomorrow (well...today, since its 12:26 am) they wouldn't be able to dry in time for me to pack them away.

Sand it down, then wet sand.. Go to Micheals or Hobby Lobby and get Kylon Metallic Silver.. it dries in 15-20minutes (i would give it a good hour though)....and is extremely durable.

I've used testors and had to learn the hard way... it doesn't last as a good base silver...it sux.

ALso (despite the fumes), bring the painted knees inside to an area that has the air conditioning on. It's so humid outside that things will never properly dry.
