As I am new to this, I want to get as much information as possible. What electronics do most of you put into the helmet (microphone, something to move the range finder, etc.)?

Same here. I'm curious as well. What's a good resource for parts and wiring schematics and such?

New here myself , the search engine's your friend , there are a few guys who sell range finder kits , ie the electronics that move the range finder and the flashing LEDs that go in the range finders head , some add microphones but I've not got that far yet, and some add fans in the helmet to help with the heat.
