how can I make the diamond part. I got that armor off of ebay, with the diamond part blank. I tryed to paint it, but I screwed up. :confused How can I carve the middle part?

Is it plastic? Fiberglass? How thick?
If it's plastic, you could probably just cut out a rectangle and glue a thin piece onto the back, simulating the depression in the middle.

pvc, it's pretty thin. I guess I could cut it.

start with a thinner base plate diamond then create the center piece and then the outer pieces

obivously make the base thin piece the outer dimentions of the diamond so when its put together its the right size

I got it. I used a screw driver and made the lines. I'll paint it later.

Or you could cut a new diamond out of a 1/4 inch sheet of marine plywood or the like, then you could dremel or router out the rectangle-that is if you want to go to all that trouble...
