Comparison pics MLC vs MAN of WAR jetpack

Spideyfett was kind enough to bring his MLC jet pack over to my house today so we could compare it against my MAN of WAR.

I guess for the larger FETTS... 6 ft and up... the Man of War would be perfect as it is much LARGER that the MLC

enjoy the pics

WOW what an amazing size difference. I have had 3 packs. The first was a ebay specail, second was a Skygunbro and the third is an MLC. MLC has really nice detail, but I thought the size was small at first. But overall I am pleased it looks nice.

The paint is in the works. On the MLC

Could you guys give a rough measurement of total height and width of each?? I'm curious as to my RA pack in comparison since it is off a DP DLX statue.

Thanks,
Steve:)

So which one is more "screen" accurate?
welcome to the TDH!

Man of war's. an MLC version 1 is pretty inaccurate (not COMPLETELY, just a few places)

Thanks for the welcome Qman! I am a newby to the Fett world.
I'm putting together an ESB Fett, and trying to keep it as close to "canon" as possible. A big "thank you" to those TDH members who helped me find reliable sources for armor, paint and extras.

I have recently pre-ordered an MLC JP. From what I have read and seen, his looked very close to the correct dimensions. Am I wrong? I have a photo from my old ESB record, and Fetts rocket does not extend higher than the top of his helmet. ( I can't see the rest of the JP in the pic)

It's gonna be a while before all my armor arrives from a few differant prop makers, but once I get it all together, I will post pics of my progress for critique.

RA's is 33" long and 16 1/2" wide at the fuselage. Thruster to thruster is of course wider, but I was concerned with body dimensions.

I'm 6' 1" and the jet pack is perfect the way it sits in regards to helmet placement. I think I've heard Jeremy Bulloch is a good 6 foot so I think 33" is a good bet....not to mention that RA's was a direct off the DP statue whom obviously had access to original jet packs.

Well, if the RA pack is a direct cast of the Don Post, then Don Post has a lot of explaining to do. ;)

I may have to get all my stuff from Man Of War, I am 6' 5" That would be the only way for me to look right in that suit! I tried on Darths gauntlets a few weeks ago and they look perfect on me!
