I'd also sugest sendin' a PM to RussRep. He recently did a run of boot spikes, and I think he recently said that he had some left over. Not sure if he still does, but it can't hurt to ask.

hey there. you might want to check out TK409.com. chris has a great tutorial on scratch built spikes, he uses flat bar and sharpened wooden dowls. its cheap and the effect is pulled off great.
