Can we call him Tusken Fett (TM)?

Maybe it's just me, but seeing the ESB rocket on the ROTJ pack was kind of a nice touch. To me, that scene answers the theories people have brought up over the years about him having multiple packs/sets of armor vs repainting the armor over and over again. Maybe he had the esb pack or at least a spare rocket or two in Slave 1 over the years?

I like the weathering of the armor. It looks really like the sarlac acid bleeched the paint off. The paint on the original Boba was more like cracked and dented from the many blastershots and blade attacks. Both are pretty cool.

Maybe the ROTJ/SE rocket got him out of the Sarlacc and he does keep his extra armor/helmet/jetpacks in Slave 1. Ship looked awfully nice.

I didn't even see that ESB rocket until RafalFett posted that photo. Very cool touch!

I hope so! That would be awesome. I wonder if he will repaint it. I'm just so happy he's back. I rewinded and replayed his action scenes like 30 times today.

Ha! I dunno bout 30 times (for me) - but I did certainly watch them scenes more than a few times! :p He made a mess with his Tusken Gaffi Stick! (y)

Based on the photo that RafalFett posted; it would appear that the back armor and collar are overlapped the “wrong” way...

Am I seeing that right?

Gotta give Boba a break though, he did have to toss it all on very quickly - so he could go back out and assist in battle. In addition, it was how many years he was without his armor? ;)

Accurate costume or not this is the Fett I've wanted to see. Not in terms of costume, but just how bas a** he is. Going to town on those stormtroopers even before donning the armor lends credence to why he was so feared. It made sense to me why the armor didn't fit Cobb Vanth because it wasn't his (setting aside the switched gauntlet scene). In terms of the story fast forwarding approximately 5 years, getting partially digested, and the hard life on Tatooine I'm also good with Boba being a little bigger and it wouldn't have fit him right either.

It was like that in the “Marshal” episode as well.

And like I said in the other post about the new Boba Fett armor, it looks craptastic.

I don't think it's meant to be overlapped at all. The look they were going for was the edges butted up flush against each other, but it also doesn't seem to be attached securely enough to keep it from shifting around like that when he moves, especially with all the action in this episode. You can see more of how it's supposed to line up in promo stills though

I hope you are right. Sincerely hope so!
It could also be digitally edited for the poster :(

On a different note... I dont get the hate the new plate material receives. Sure, there are a couple of things questionably done with this costume, but I like the all-the-way-through-same-thickness-plates without a return edge. After all, that is what it is supposed to be in-univers. A thick steel plate.

Perhaps the robe he had on will become part of his new kit? an over the shoulder mythos style? I doubt we will see him as we did in jedi, looking at how baddly his skin is burned/scarred we can only asume sarlac stomach acid burned up most of the soft parts along with his face. it was particularly good to see him use every wepon he had on his armour.... almost as if to say ``right this is how everything woks`` a final version of Fett is coming, but it will be different. This a good thing it will create a new generation for Fett and new fans.... this does mean I will have to start all over again...meh

I would go absolutely nuts if Boba Fett shows back up sporting the Mythos style look. That is absolutely my favorite Fett look besides the PrePro 1 Fett which is why I incorporated some of the design aspects into my own custom build.

Who knows at this point, its a real nice fan service to followers of such a mysterious, controversial character, I think we all appreciate it in our own way and want to see more and more Fett which ultimately may end up being over saturated.... however it plays out, wherever the story ends with Boba I am just thankful for his resurgence and kicking a little but at the same time........ there is no doubting his abilities now is there

Wonderful show, wonderful story...

Yeah, I think they need to be careful with overdoing it, in his regard. That said, I would hope now that they've brought him back, they don't turn around and kill him off (for good this time). I know there's been some speculation that Fett kicks the (dented) bucket and Mando commandeers Slave I for himself.

I just sorely wish they had gone with a more Mythos-style look for him. It just would've made so much sense, esp if his desert garb had been tan instead of black. If there had been a glamour shot of Mythos-style Fett, armor newly reacquired, leg propped on a rock with replacement EE-3 pointed skyward with the sun behind him, I would've geeked out big time! Lol!

Highly doubt they'll bump him off, he's too valuable to the series.
Probably my favourite action scene of all time now. Just pure violence and rage, show's why he was so feared. Rightly so, Boba wrecked them
