Beskar build questions

Hi everyone, Im trying my hand at printing a mandalorian armor. Im going to use Great Ape files. Its probably gong to take me a couple of weeks to print everything but once I get them printed I have a couple of questions:
1. Once parts are trimmed and sanded, do you use a coat of epoxy resin?
2. How do you paint the parts? Im brand new to painting?
3. How do I attach the armor to the suit?
Thanks for any help you can provide this newbie. Once I print stuff and take some photos, maybe I will change this to a WIP thread

You could go through my build thread and find most of your answers there. I am just starting my armor attachment and will end up using Velcro and elastic straps
