A Question about the Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster from Holiday Special

I am working on a Holiday Special suit and I want it to be true to the cartoon. In the animated cartoon, Boba Fett is seen using and holding this blaster and the end fork is in different orientations (some angles hard to tell):

Then I see the Gentle Giant Marquette and bust and I wonder...what is the agreed upon orientation of the fork at the end? Is it side to side, or up and down? Does it rotate?

I say side to side. It's one of those aesthetic things I feel can be left up to interpretation

It is side to side when shooting it in the first image. That is the reference I would base my build upon if it were me.

My vote is side to side but there's no reason you couldn't make it rotate in case you wanted to have options.

Most rifles I've seen are side by side. Up/down looks strange.
