I use Humbrol 154 for the yellow, and fade it to orange with humbrol 82

What I did to get the correct shape and cut of leather, was to soak the leather in some water for a good 10-15 minutes, make sure its really wet. Then place the leather onto where you want it, and start working it in to the shape and form you want. Leave the leather on the helmet until it dries...

Ross mate absolutely fantastic work, the helmet turned out beautifully. Last time I remember seeing this it still had the filler primer on, and now you've gone and moulded the thing. Really top notch work, and the cold cast came out lovely.

When I painted up a TF CC helmet, I did not use a primer. I treated the the coldcast as the 1st paint layer, masked it up and painted the grey. I had no issues with coverage or paint peeling off the coldcast.
