I don't have Bobamaker helmet yet but compared to a WastedFett helmet, this one is about twice the thickness. I like the weight. It feels like this is what a Mando helmet would weigh, but obviously that's just a personal headcanon thing. Of course the lighter one would technically be better for...

I wish Bobamaker's had that seam in the back and was darker. Stormtrooper guy, I'm following you on Instagram, are you planning... or better yet, do you know of a way to make it darker?

I bet it's going to be the same material as the boba fett helmet they're making, some type of plastic. If you buy it from Anovos and plan to wear it, you're gonna need to rip out the inner lining to install fans and keep cool. Ideally I'd want something with weight (fiberglass), but for that...

I was planning on getting BM's but it's the "screen accurate paint" that sold me on EFX's. There's a thread here about how much the paint they used actually cost. Other independent helmet makers may not end up using that exact same paint.

I ordered two. The only other thing I've ordered from them is Kylo's helmet. Sure it arrived a full year later but I already knew that going in because they hadn't even started making them yet.
