One of the other large differences in cost between the two is the much higher cost of the machined aluminum/resin ESB flamethrower. So please keep that in mind as well.
Don't paint everyone with the same brush. There's lots of reputable vendors on here who have been doing this for years who are trustworthy.
By that logic you would never buy anything from anyone on the internet ever again.

Be prepared for what PCC has done to become the norm for all cons across the board. E.g. Santa Fe Comic Con...
Fett is not a cheap costume, unfortunately. And if you really want to do it right, be prepared to spend between $3-$5k when it's all said and done. And for that level of quality parts, you're not going to find them on eBay.

I would be very leery of buying that armor, it looks to me in the pics like it's made from HIPS (styrene), which is horrible for armor. It'll start cracking...

CB makes a really good point here, and I can only echo it.
There's so many resources here and it's so easy to research (not only here but everywhere on the internet), not to mention the tons of build threads and tutorials as well as reviews. It does kind of make me wonder why people go elsewhere...
