Sith Trooper Costume for my 7yo

Yeah, they have the no mask rule at his school as well (which is ironic with covid).. he still brings his helmet and uses it to collect candy (and sneak a few poses for photos). Boushh is a great costume... my wife went as that the year we did the boba fett costume for my son. I went as...

Sith Trooper Costume for my 7yo

LOL, yeah, he had no idea he was wearing "girls boots." You just can't find boys boots in red. The sith trooper costume was actually 2020. For 2021 he went as his favorite character in the Star Wars Universe: Captain Rex, Phase 1: now 8yo, proportions are starting to get closer (less of a...

Sith Trooper Costume for my 7yo

Just the shins and shoulders were purchased from akira yuming, the rest of it was this model: Sith Trooper Full Armor Suit Star Wars | 3D Model Project #6038 | Do3D At the time that model didn't have correct shin and shoulders, but it looks like it may now. I know I had to make modifications...

Sith Trooper Costume for my 7yo

It's Holloween, and my 7yo son insists on a Star Wars again (so proud), this year he picked a Sith Trooper. Just completed it tonight. Turned out better than expected, it wasn't nearly as difficult of a build as his RTOJ Boba Fett costume was last year. Lots of 3d printing, had to print...

    3'10" boba fett costume complete

The smoke ran through some silicone tubes into the bottom of the thrusters. There were flashing yellow lights in the thrusters that lit up the smoke which looked pretty cool at night. I'm going to post a vid on youtube at some point, I'll post a link then. Unfortunately, the volume of smoke...

    3'10" boba fett costume complete

I posted a couple photos of my 6yo's sons costume in a Halloween thread last year. But this weekend we took some better photos, as he's just about to grow out of it. Big thanks to everybody on this site for the wealth of information and 3d files. I've never made anything this complex before...

    6-year-old Boba Fett

6yo ROTJ counterpart, it was a fun collaboration. You have to be a little crazy to build a fett costume that will be grown out of in a matter of weeks.

    Starting Equipment??

If you have an air compressor already, buying an airbrush may actually save money by saving paint. It's also very hard, if not impossible, to get the colors perfect with rattle cans. If you do use rattle cans than make sure you use cans made for art projects and not the coarse spray stuff you...

    Kids Fett Helmet?

Should make yourself a Jango costume and your son can be little Boba. Another idea is using a tricycle as a basis for an Endor speeder bike. I've seen kids costumes that do something like that. Your son can be a scout trooper, or an Ewok riding a speeder bike.

    Kids Fett Helmet?

Thanks, Halloween is sort of a big deal in my household. Just happy to get back to a Star Wars: Got side tracked the past few years on some other 80's movies:
