ok well i acctualy cleaned them after i noticed the problem. ran some thiner throught them, then some water. so i jst need to find the paint and try again, DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT COLOR TO USE FOR JANGOS LOWER MANDIBLE AND RF? sry bout the caps just trying to draw attentino to that! lol. ok well...

ok well today i finished the lighter blue, fixed the crack and taped the light blue(after cureing of course). when i tryed to air brush the darker paint, it spattered all over... tryed using a new air can, didnt work, mabe my needle is messed up. or the paint... dont realy know, its the same...

if you buy some plastic epoxy from home depot, you can put in a much stonger hold on the hardhat liner than regular hot glue. even better you could use thermo plastic. its like super hot glue. thermor plastic is just like the regular hot glue stick, just a different brand and better hold, comes...

When i took a second glance. i decided that i realy should sandpaper the helmet again. i found that alot of lines still showed up, so im going to use super fine sandpaper and have the blues done today. hopefuly!:lol: ill post pics in an hour of the light blue.:cheers

got the light blue colors painted today(visor, ring around top), im going to do the darker blues tomorrow. will post once im done, bye the way. i know im doing things backwards by not painting the whole helmet silver and then finnishing with blues. long story as to why. but ya i know im doing it...

haha i dont think there would be enough left to shape if i dipped realy hot sintra into ice. if just running under hot then cold water will crack it. id hate to think what an oven then an ice bath would do:lol:

its sintra, i tried putting under realy hot water, tried hairdryer and heat gun. i think the plastic is just mabe too thick. but then again, someone shaped it before...lol

Hey i need some pointers on bending and shaping plastic. i tried to heat up my thigh armor and i ended up cracking it, not bad, but still cracked.:cry i need to flatten the pieces out then work on them, then later reshape them to my leg. any ideas would be awsome.

Thanks for the idea. i tryed appoxy but it didnt work.thats ok i used the appoxy for securing my hard hat liner anyway. ill try that and then im going to finnish all the touch up areas, then its off to finnal paint! anyone know where i can get a tintied visor? tried walmart and home depot. gonig...

Ok well im done now!SWEET hah couldnt find my exacto knife so i used some of my sharp would carving tools. worked like a charm. ill post a pic just for fun.8) thanks again everyone. matt edit: heres the pic

Ok well im painting my helmet, and i just got done removing the fake plastic visor(rubies). will i didnt have my dremle, so i had to manualy saw it out:p . well i dont think thats an option with taking the key holes out, any ideas?:confused Matt
