The build is based on extensive scans and photogrammetry of the studio scale model so I believe it to be accurate There's very little I wouldn't do for $10 million o_O

The windshield is done and fitted so that brings the build to an end really. I still have to put her on wheels and transport her. I work in a boatyard, on a little Island in the middle of the river Thames in London, so she will have to go by boat to a slipway to load onto a lorry...and then on...

Definitely 1/6. It's a bigger ship than u think Anyway...the painting has begun. It's gonna be emotional, that's for sure. With the exception of maybe Boba Fett's helmet I would say this is the best paint job in Star Wars? I'm gonna take it slow and get as much help as possible from past...

It's mostly 3D printed for the engine and wing parts. The skirt and the wing wells are fibreglass and the fuselage is bendy ply...and a bit of elbow grease. It will be displayed in a Star Wars museum in Germany. outpost one

OK, so a little update for an awful lot of fiddly work...the Wing Wells. Easily the most awkward and frustrating part of the build to get right. As far as I can discern there are 7 different elements per well. One, I have only just discovered so am still modelling and printing it, as we speak...

Cheers guys...Thought I'd post a quick update as I have fitted the wings! Non-trivial, to say the least. Plenty more to do to get all the greeblies in the wells etc but it feels like another hurdle has been crossed. It would be nice to permanently attach them but there's no way she would fit...
