It's been a while since I repainted my armor plates but I'm pretty sure I had to get one or two separate colors to do the armor paintjob, couldn't tell you which ones. Sorry

Yes I did, although in the time since I posted this thread I did repaint the armor with Archive-X acrylics

For the midsole, I'm still researching what the best material would be, but I've seen a lot of people using a strip of leather or a dedicated "midsole board." I'm not sure what a midsole board is made of. The outsole I'm making out of natural gum rubber sheets. Mine are 3/8" thick

I used cheap acrylics. There's no right or wrong colors for the weathering and nobody will ever know. I know a lot of people use Dirty Down too.

Usually when someone weathers their flightsuit, they'll get a bunch of replies saying to go darker and very rarely has anyone taken it too far.

Just about the best advice I can give is to go further than you think. Film era pictures of the suit tend to wash out the weathering due to the bright studio lights used, so the best bet is to pick a reference that looks about right and go darker than that.

I was considering not even posting this but maybe y'all will get a kick out of it. I noticed that in this famous pic of Jeremy with his helmet off, he's also missing his right gauntlet. But I saw that the flightsuit sleeve looked a little funny, like it had an out of place shadow on it...
