A small win, but it was a journey finding these.

Working on the LEFT GAUNTLET. These pieces are roughly positioned just for the photo.

The right gauntlet is weathered and complete. Incredibly happy with how this turned out, now to get the left gauntlet moving.

Only once I have them finished as I need to know the materials used and more inportantly, the time it takes to make a set.

I'm working on Jango Gauntlets at the moment. These will be available in a small run, 'Fully Finished' in Cold Cast Aluminium, weathered and ready to wear. I've been working on these for well over a year, but only got around to the construction and mould making the last week or two. Pictures...

I agree, but the lighting affects every photo, some shots it looks chrome, others it looks darker gunmetal grey.

All finished. The hardest part has been the paint. Chrome paint is fine, but it's unstable and needs sealing. But sealing chrome paint dulls the surface down to a poor silver at best. To cut a long story short, I spent many weeks doing test after test, using all kings of techniques and products...

I just wasn't 100% happy with the curvature of the visor/upper cheek. So these areas have been altered. Now it's ready to mould...

Finally finished the sculpt, moulding this week. Lots of tweaks since the last photos, I'm very happy with the final result, this gets me motivated to get the first fibreglass copy made and painted up.

Got the crest over the dome finished. This leaves the right ear assembly and curving of the right cheek to do. Then some general clean-up and ready to mould. These are just quick pictures with my phone, the detailed and correctly lit pictures will be done when it's all complete.

Finally finished the complete ear assembly. This will now be attached to the main helmet sculpt.

The ears are now printed in plastic, next they will be cleaned and moulded. The finished ears will be cast in PU resin.

I'm making good progress on my Mandalorian Helmet sculpt. The main helmet is built, just doing a little more clean up before photographing. The ears are drawn and currently printing. Keyslots are finished. The final stage will to add the crest over the dome, I still need to draw this and get it...

I've now altered my Pulce using all the info discussed in this thread, including removing the logos, repositioning of the front barrel section and adding the strip of tape. I've also adjusted the brown colour and the weathering techniques on both the brown section and the barrel to match Art's...

There's always something new to learn, thanks Art. I'll have my sculpt updated before this weekend...
