I know, it was a general statement to the group not you, as im aware you did the paint master but some may not be aware that the paint master and final production piece don't share the colours that are the secret EFX colours you mentioned, as they wouldn't be secret then Either as would be on...

The first fully Archive-X Fett Helmet paint up

With Fett we are very hesitant to release what would be a complete set as feel much of the original work wasn't strictly out of the jar, its very complex to get the paint looking right. Though we do have the matches for a lot of the helmet, the artistry is required to get the results and from...

Weathering and upscaling for a mad project

The frame will be black or metal finish , we’re working with Innometal to metallise the art , an amazing product that has ties to the new star wars films ironically

Weathering and upscaling for a mad project

Veery kind words, thank you. I want it to be a very unique piece and something a true Fett Fan can just look at on the wall and know they having something quite special. The hard part is deciding how best it looks as art, its not a replica it is art so tweaks and taste are very difficult to...

Weathering and upscaling for a mad project

A little update on this, This is the V2, slightly altered shape and Frame under construction in Mahogany to be painted , there needs to be a few more paint masters done before I decide how I want to paint it but the results are looking rather unique and bonkers so far. There will be around 5 of...

The first fully Archive-X Fett Helmet paint up

That was a gift as we had a slight delay sending your paint, its a colour we had done as a test that we're unlikely to run in the future. Some of the 60's colours are more accurate in hue to SW, but this was a little off, but you can see howe the colour developed over time as there is a stark...

The first fully Archive-X Fett Helmet paint up

I can't go into specifics but I have people who use my paint in the industry and that have archive access and studies have been done alongside many items in the archive both on ships and costume by many different folk.

The first fully Archive-X Fett Helmet paint up

Another theory that I believe from studying the ref is that the reds extend beneath the black in the cheeks, thats why you see a maroon shade to it in certain light, its the same on Slave 1 in many areas, they seem to just go over it, Im convinced there is some opacity to the black and beneath...
