I got my wife one of those Cricut scrapbooking things for christmas. I just found out that it can be hooked into a PC via USB and there is software that you can purchase so you can cut directly from the PC.
Now after playing with it, you can only use shapes that are in the Cricut software. After a little more research I found another program called SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) that you can "trace any .JPG image and cut it out on thr Cricut.
Now my creative juices started to flow and I was playing. I was able to re-create the kill stripes on Boba's helmet. I have not cut them yet because I have no vinyl to cut with. I then started to think that I could probably export the Pepakura 2D shapes into JPG format and let the machine do the cutting for me...
Does anybody have any experience with this Cricut machine? I just started to dabble with it. Is there anyone that might be able to provide some more insight on this?
