I want to know what type of strap you use? and their dimensions (thickness, length, width).
And I'm looking to fix my blaster greeblies (trigger) that broke during an event or how to make one or make it stronger. I still have two broken piece in case.
Thank you for your help.

I like to break up the colour a little with a light spray of a darker colour, and I do mean light. Also I'm a great advocate of washes and light misting with Browns/ greys/blacks. Just make sure you seal the armour before you do a wash ( the sealer needs to cure fully first before a wash). I usually use cheap oil paints for my washes... There is defiantly a nack to weathering... I find it can either make or break a great paint job.

Some small change but I have difficulties to have the right color I think.

I need advice for dirt, I'm a little lost. When I spray the humbrol 79, this happens cloud on the plate, the paint is not wet on the plates when it arrives, it is correct or is it a mistake? I spray maybe too little paint?
And the color changes according to whether in the light or shade, from clear to dark, why? The varnish will help?

Thank you for all your advice.

The armor is finished I removed the masking, it remains to put the varnish (matte or satin?). I continue my work on the shoulder and knee.

I still have to put the varnish humbrol, but I've never used varnish, how to do to spray it with the airbrush?
Matt or satin?
thank you.

All I've seen use matte, such as Testors Dullcote. Don't build it up very thick, or it will start to look satin. Just needs a few light coats.

Hello,
I have a problem with the painting, I think rather that it is the varnish. Just something touches the paint and I have lots of scratching or even the paint is removed, what is the problem?
I used the humbrol humbrol paint and varnish (2 light passing varnish, probably not enough).
How did you make those uses humbrol?
Thanks for your help.

Anything touching the armor thats hard is going to leave a mark..clear coat wont make it indestructible...plus i think it just adds to the overall "used" look, but the paint shouldn't come off. That may be in the prep work. I always give armor a light sand with 400 grit sandpaper to give the paint good adhesion. i then use a good quality primer (i use krylon grey primer) , and the proceed as normal with the layers.

Thank you for your reply, I have some difficulty to explain in English.
For example I tried to adjust the Girth belt, and I was getting full trace just with friction. The paint will not come off, but marks very easily, just with the nail.
Do you think I need to spend more humbrol varnish layer, or I use a varnish spray (automobile for example)?
