Hi everyone.
My name is Vicente and I'm an architecture student from Chile. I'm 19 and I've been a Star Wars fan since im like 6; Ep VII is coming and I plan to go to the premiere with my -in progress- ROTJ Boba Fett costume on, just the coolest character of the saga. I have a REALLY busy study year so the only time I got to do it all is this month of january, and till february the 10th. So yes, I'm rushing and as no, I'm not looking for a first class product, just something nice I can wear in special ocassions but I don't have time, neither money to do as a good job as I'd like to.
Im doing it following WOF's templates and looking at all the great tutorials on this web.
Right now my biggest problem is to the flak vest and the jumpsuit. I've gone to all the army shopping in the capital and they don't have the one we need. I also don't know how to get a decent flak vest. Is there any way I could buy them online and have them sent here? I'm also flying to Barcelona after the 10th of february so maybe it will be cheaper to send something there?
I forgot to tell you I'm not pretending to do the jetpack, neither the shin tools, neither the EE-3 gun, neither the wookie straps. At least not for this deadline, so for this remainding month I'm aiming at helm, armor, suit, gauntlets, girth belt, cape and hopefully pouches.
Here are the pics of what I got so far (sorry for the stupid faces but they were taken for my friends haha):

I'm scared the helm is too big but I think it should feel better as I grow up with the armor.

Finished the helmet's cardboard parts. Now I have to go buy some filler to finish details.
Which kind of filler do you guys recommend? Fiberglass or something else?
This is what I got here: http://www.sodimac.cl/sodimac-cl/br...imac-cl/search/includes/search.jsp.searchForm

Can't believe there only have been 4 days since I started! :3
I've been looking arround a lot to get some instructions on how to assemble WOF's gauntlet templates, but I have found nothing. Could somebody help me with this?
For the helm pieces, I was able to figure it out of pictures of finished helmets but that took me too much time since I have to cut some pieces I did not need. I'm not sure whether to keep working on 0.5cm cardboard or a thinner, let's say 0.2 for the gauntlets.

Thanks a lot.

Vicente.
