Neck seal advice?

One of the most important features to me is the fit of the neck seal-- it wraps firmly around his neck with no sag. Browsing through the forums I've seen some people's neck seals that don't conform to their neck and I personally like the former.


Just looking for some guidance on closure methods that reproduce that slim neck fit-- I've read that there is a closure method involving a hook that does this; could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

This is what I've seen as far as hooks that people have used. I just got my flight suit in the mail and Arkady uses Velcro

I also have the Arkady flight suit with an attached neck seal. I actually removed the Velcro from mine since I found it to uncomfortable on my throat since it didn't want to flex when I spoke. I am currently in the process of sewing a hook and eye enclosure on mine I just have to finish it to see how it works. I can't view your photo right now but the screen used suits had a neck seal that was a bit compressed so it didn't look absolutely form fitting on the throat. I have a small MOW flight suit and was planning on getting his neck seal as well (which doesn't come standard with any closure method)

I have a MOW and its not worth the money!........ I just got a new one from Batninja and its Awesome! check with him and see if he has any left. they are pricey but well worth the cost!!

Do you mean the neck seal? Was still debating-- could you take some comparison pictures if it isn't troublesome? Thanks tommy

Batninja takes your neck measurements for a perfect fit ...Mow is one size fits all and it didnt fit me at all. Neither did his vest...way to small and its a one size fits all, im in the process of replacing it as well! I dont even have the mow neck seal I gave it away. It was to small and i ordered the largest,thinking it would be fine. It doesnt come with any type of closer and in my opinion any thing thats a one size fits all is crap shoot . Custom is the only way to go when it comes to most of the soft parts!!

That's actually all I needed to know; I am actually around 16-17 inches and thought it would be fine-- I guess I'll hit up bat. Thank you tommy for sharing that!
