Hey I haven't checked this thread in a few days, I'm still not llisted as 'paid'. I should have been number 4or 5 on the size ten list. The only reason I am posting this is that I am worried that you didn't recieve my payment? Or that I might have got over looked?

Guys,

I'm getting a metric butt-ton of PMs asking if people can still get in on the run. Not to sound like an absolute jerk (not the word I wanted to use) but, the answer is no. I gave plenty of advance warning when the run would happen and the timeline for payments. I was also pretty up front about not taking orders and payments after the 15th. So please, stop sending me PMs asking to order boots. Another question is: "If someone backs out or doesn't pay, can I have their spot?" It's not a matter of someone backing out or not paying. Those that paid got boots. Those that didn't, well, didn't. If down the line, someone who paid needs a refund, they can post here and sell their boots to whomever wants them.

Yes, all payments received and the orders were placed, but it's only been 2 weeks. I really hope everyone wasn't expecting their boots this soon.

Wes,
I don't expect any boots to be finished but I was wondering if you could give us a progress update. For more curiousity value than anything, for example is the manufacturer still purchasing / preparing materials, or have they started on a boot, if so which size.
Like most things with this costume everything is a sizeable investment and I was wondering how it's going.

Ok, sorry for the delay. I'm a witness for an investigation, so my TDY to Maryland got involuntarily extended. Anyhoo, all the material has been ordered and is on hand. The intent is to make one of each size then go from there. They have cut the material for a couple of different sizes and have already started stretching material to the lasts.
