Ok! I've been meaning to post pics of this for a few weeks now but I got sidetracked building up my bucket, as you do.
Anyway. I'd always fancied having a bash at building the ESB blaster as I think it looks so much better than the ROTJ version (don't mean to upset anyone). However I don't have access to tools, a workshop or much else come to think of it, but one thing I can get hold of here is sintra. So armed with a couple of sheets of 1mm and 2mm thickness and a craft knife, I set about this project.
Yes I know it's not really screen accurate as I have altered one or two things just because I didn't think they looked right and secondly because I had to make do with what I had. :facepalm
The only parts that are not sintra is the stock and the grip. The grip is made of modeling putty and the stock is made from some wood packing that came with my new wardrobe and which I carved with a craft knife and hand sanded to shape, a real ballache of a job if ever there was one.
For some reason the camera flash is bringing out the rust a bit too much and without it you can't see it :facepalm However there you go. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it but I will be upgrading to a aluminum D bracket when I can track down a source for the metal.
Let me know what you think of her guys.
Cheers :cheers
