Hey guys,
I've begun work on my first Boba project. I've been ordering hard parts and plan to paint everything myself. I bought an airbrush and practiced with that for a while before attempting my first armor piece.
I have a set of RKD armor, an Asok CC helmet, and a MoW jetback so far. All of it is amazing! You guys do incredible work.
I decided to start with the armor, as I feel I need a bit more practice before I go an attempt the helmet. Even further, I started with just the cod, as I wanted to get the feel of layering before I ended up having to strip everything back down! It's painted and has a tiny bit of weathering done to it, though it was done before removing any masking. I intend on more now with the masking off.
This was painted with a Floquil Bright Silver base, toned down with some dullcoat. Then layered with Humbrol 81, 78, and 117. I tossed a bit of 33 over the top, but that's as far as I've gone so far.
Feel free to give any suggestions, as I've never done with before and am not hesitant about stripping it and restarting! Also, I can't seem to figure out unloading images so they appear small and are expandable...Maybe I'm just bad at this! :facepalm So I just linked to it from another site. Is that acceptable practice around here?
Looking forward to seeing what you think!
