New Hunter
Hello guys,
It's been a very long time since I last wrote on these boards...I mean...it's been YEARS! Now I'm posting because I would like to share with you my completed 501st CLonetrooper armor (OSCS kit). It took me 16 months to finish this armor for two main reasons:
1) I moved twice internationally in the last year.
2) It was the first time I took a Dremel in my hands. As a 501st Legion member, my primary costume so far was Vader "Pre-suit" aka "Bad guy Anakin"...
So, finally, last weekend I was able to enjoy the results of more than a year of work, wearing my costume for the first time. I wore it for 9 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Sunday so I am feeling pretty confident that the costume is correctly assembled.
Here you can find some pictures of the WIP phase. During the process, I tried to model all the parts to make them as close to my body as possible, trying to reach the look of the movie. You can see what I mean when you'll see the pictures of the upper legs: the right one is "out of the box", the left one is "after the cure"
I really hope you'll enjoy the pictures and please feel free to post all the comments you want!
