Webley no 1 mk 1 flare gun

Hey everyone!

I came across this today and had to take it home...

It's the real deal, British arrow mark, imported to the states and nickel plated prior to being sold as a tear gas gun to prisons. Action is very smooth, and even came with case and old shells! There is a little bit of corrosion on the left side which is fixable especially if the plating is stripped.

I'm not sure what my plans are yet for it, thought I'd see what you guys thought. Should it be stripped, left as is, make a mold, what?

Thanks in advance for the advice.
