Actually I believe there were only two scenes in the script that didnt get filmed. One was Joker leaving Bruce's party and I dont remeber what the other is but I dont think Joker was in it

Sorry what I meant is that we really don't know what they did with him or if he was truly dead?

He is for sure dead, interviews say so, apparently he would ask Nolan "Am I dead?" and of course, the answer was "Yes"
