never ending fett

Great comparison shot there, the killstripes especially. Thanks for sharing!
not to get too far off topic here,
These castings were originally considered “Screen Castings”. This is NOT accurate. This helmet NEVER saw screen time. Why? Because it was a “Pre-Production ILM/Fox Casting”.
Also just to clarify, I assume FoxBat's Jango helmet is from FP's run. It should be noted, and in FP's own words:
It is still an ILM/Fox helmet, and "the same shape and size as the “Screen” helmet." I'm just trying to keep our helmet "labels" consistent with their history to avoid confusion.
That is a good discussion for a different thread. Let's keep this one on topic. Check out some earlier threads:

Thanks for the comp, DigiFett!
At a cursory glance, I don't see the stripes matching up that well with the ESB stripes.
Given the that helmet has ILM helmet lineage and that the stripes were painted in same general area and style, there should be some similarities, but I don't see anything that persuasive in that comp.
Better photos of the stripes would definitely help us know for sure... nudge nudge...
Just something i noticed Banzai, looking at the shot inside the helmet, but would you say the dent is part of the cast or added afterwards using Bondo/filler?
After looking at the higher res image along side the ESB hero, I believe this helmet was cast from another stunt we haven't seen. I certainly can't say that definitively but to me, the stripes do't match the ESB hero but we are pretty confident this helmet does have lineage back to the ESB hero which would require there to be another helmet between them that had the stripes we are seeing on Banzai's helmet. Again, certainly not fact, but my guess is:
ESB Hero (post filming of ESB) - Stunt Helmet #3 (unseen by us) - Banzai's helmet.
I am certainly open for other ideas on this as my assessment isn't conclusive.
I see. What exactly do you mean when you say the stripes don't match? Is it because you can't make out their weathering? You can't tell the size from the image. I did post their size earlier. So just wondering how the don't match.
After all your research, is it more likely that it is cast from one you know to exist or one you have not seen yet? I doubt one could have slipped by you.
And while it is DEFINITELY not definitive (haha... how about that!), yes, it is the weathering or the lack thereof that makes me believe it isn't the ESB hero kill stripes... but again, I could be completely wrong. Just my thoughts.

OK... I am recanting my earlier assessment (this is where it makes me very glad that I don't make definitive statements..). The stripes ARE ESB Hero stripes. See comparison below. The question remains where this helmet came from, but this detail now makes me lean toward the POSSIBILITY that this helmet may have come from the mold that the other two stunts came from instead of a recasting of one of the stunts. It is comparisons like this that make me amazed at just how much detail can be picked up in a casting.
It is definitely part of the cast.
