The amp is apparently not so good. Does sound a bit quiet and staticky when I heard a friend use it for Chewie (but staticky may be a good thing for Fett).

oh? was that from the combo soundboard/amp or just the amp. if it sucks, i should just go for the non amp'd version and run an aker speaker.

Not sure.Think it was just the amp.You may just be able to replace the amp since it's still the same board.

EDIT: Just had a chat with him. Apparently it was some sort of bug with the amp. Not sure if it was a one off, a batch thing or if they all suffer from it.
