The servo kit does not come with any lights. The rf kit comes with all the lights that is needed for the rangefinder.

As for the blaster, I'm not positive but I think it won't. There is a big size difference between the toy and an actual webley. Also the toy will not work for an esb suit.
The blaster is not required for 501st approval. This is due to that fact that the 501st is a worldwide organization and there are some countries where even prop guns are illegal.
Eh. I think the Hasbro is accurate enough with severe modification. This is mine with a full size stock and barrel replacement:

As a UK based (and, from Monday, 501st approved) Boba, I can highly recommend RS and Bobamaker, BM has great communication and his work is incredible and the price is great - but you will have to wait a lot longer as he is in high demand. I had to wait 12 months for a helmet kit from him.
RS can turn around things a lot quicker, I bought their armour (raw), shin tools (finished) and Jetpack (trimmed, primered and ready to paint). MOW has some great stuff for very reasonable prices, but don't forget customs charges if buying from outside EU, this can sting quite a bit.
I heard the same from RS how did your armour turn outIn my opinion, Bobamaker is the closest you can get to FP this side of the pond (just my opinion) The finish on the helmet kit I got from him was unbelievable, his attention to detail is fantastic, I will literally only have to paint it. His shipping prices aren't that expensive, it's just the wait times are very long.
This is invaluable to a starter. Thank you guys for the input!
I have a WIP in this section on TDH and also in the 'Bounty Hunters' section on UKG website, with lots of pictures.
I also have pictures of my cleared costume in this section on TDH.
The RS armour is pretty accurate for ROTJ with a quick turn around, vac-formed ABS i believe (anybody correct me if I'm wrong) it needs a fair bit of trimming.
Not sure what you can do about the colour of your Loanstar flightsuit, maybe a very very hot wash, and leave it out in the sun for a few days to see what happens, I believe the ROTJ suit is just an aged and faded version of the ESB, but don't quote me on that ;-)
Yes if you look at the flight suits over time it appears that the ROTJ is the ESB just fading and such over time. If you look at the parts of the suit that were protected from the sun and weathering you can still the the blue hue.
If you carefully bleach and weather the ESB suit you can easily reach the ROTJ look. I did that with mine. If you fade the suit out fairly well then you can add some pearl grey and tan dye to get to the exact color you want.
The tougher part is the sizing of the suit, you will definitley need to tighten the suit up.
Considering the size is a fair bit off and the colour isn't what you want, you might be better off selling the suit and getting a new one. It seems like a lot of work to get it to where you want it to be.
I agree, it may be best to sell and buy a better sized one. you'd probably have to completely rebuild the flight suit.
If you have the skills to do it yourself that makes a pretty big difference. For me, the tailoring would probably cost as much as a new suit.
Don't underestimate the number of people looking for a flightsuit. A ton of people on these boards as well the Mercs could be looking. Access to the cargo hold is still an issue though.
You're never going to reach 50 posts if you keep using Multi-Quote
What about the armholes? If you're taking in the sides and the shortening the shoulders. you'll have to remove the sleeves and reconstruct the armhole and sleeve crown which is definitely the most complicated part of tailoring. If you can do that, you should advertise your services in the cargo hold!
I see a lot of people throwing Bobamaker around but don't forget about RS Propmasters. They are based in the UK as well and do outstanding work. They even offer finished pieces. I would highly recommend that you take a look at them.
Yes.....seconded. RS Props makes some incredible pieces. I have worked on them in the past and I am currently working on a jet pack now.
It is no problem to have multiple makers. The main thing is that the items fit you. If you body fits RKD armor with a FP backplate and an Animefan helmet with Bobamaker gauntlets and an RS Props jet pack and a Loanstar flight suit with a Batninja vest and neckseal and a Woodman cape............then that is what you need to do. Mixing and matching is what most people end up doing to get the best fit.
And if each part is painted well then they will all match up well for the final look.
and the makers you have listed are all quality.
I see a lot of discussion about RS and BM here right now, and I'm wondering as to Animefan's (or other maker) helmet stands to their (RS/BM) armor parts etc?
Are they compatible? I understand that it might be best not to diversify with the makers of different pieces, but I'm guessing the helmets are of at least good overall quality and work cross manufacturers...

Couldn't have said it better myself
I think Animfan's helmets are good, I'm not totally sure but I think he took over the ASOK GMH Coldcast, if so that's what I have and it's a good lid!
Thanks guys! It's a relief to know that!
Yes Animefan has a coldcast, I've PM:ed him about it, hope to hear from him soon. I plan to start there and add the electronics and wireless stuff to make the RF move etc, and then go for the gauntlets.
