The show at the Disney theme park is more Indy.
I thought of something similar to this at first too but then I realized that almost any religion believes that they're god(s) live "in the sky" (whether its outer space, heaven, or wherever up there).I've even heard some people say that angelic encounters in the Bible were really aliens. So speculation on aliens could go on and on....Maybe George Bush is an alien. I'm a Christian and I greatly enjoyed it more when Indy went after relics of Christianity/Judaism. Not because it had to do with my religion though (as there there are several theological misconceptions in the films) but because it simply seemed more like a real archeologist. In the other films he was more like "I'm going to get the Ark to put it in a museum before the Nazis get it" and this time he was like "I need to return the crystal skull because it told me to"ancient Native Americans worshipped people from the sky that some believe may be extra terrestrial beings
Then Shaia almost putting the hat one, honestly...I wanted to drag him through the screen and give him a good punch for even insinuating that he's gonna be the next Indy.
The second he picked up the hat, I primed myself to leave the theater. Literally. I had my hands on the arms of the chair and I was leaning on my legs ready to stand up.
Must be a thing in us Carolina folk then. =D
I was doing the same thing
& I'm across the country8)
