Welcome to polk county "get out while you can". Okay, so i moved over here to the states about four years ago from the Netherlands, I was born in Ireland but spent most of my child hood in the Chicago area. When i turned 18 i realized i had to get away for awhile find out who i am and where i belong. "I'm sure most of you know what i'm talking about". anyways so I moved back to europe. spent 14 years over there. 4 years ago my father had become seriously ill so I moved back to the states to help my mother out. since then my father has recovered.
When i moved back i moved near where my parents retired a small town by the name of auburndale in polk county fl. Now this is where it gets interesting this town is located half way between orlando and tampa 2 major modern city's but this town in fact the entire county is for lack of better words a normal persons hell but a rednecks heaven. okay put it this way every 3 out of 4 vehicles is a huge jacked up truck covered in mud. pretty much all the drivers are wearing cowboy hats or john deer caps. umm hello i don't see any cows that need wrangling or fields to plow and seed. but the funniest thing is they have these places called mud ranches okay sure lets all go to the mud ranch and drink bud light wth is that. I think the only beer that exists in that county is bud light. yuk I mean come on polk county get with the times open your eyes and stop marrying your 15 year old cousins already. If you end up ever ending up in that county make sure you get out while you can and run as far and as fast as you can away from there. now if your all redneck by all means move there you'll love it. Just make sure your name isn't Bubba cause everyone that lives there is named Bubba its so bad that they have to asign them numbers after the name for example "Bubba 12,825 your grits and collard greens are ready for pick up at register 2 and Bubba 763 your pigs feet and 6pack of bud light is ready at register 1". Funniest part about it is that you think i'm joking.
