    Ultra-light jetpack

Does such a thing exist? I met a guy not too long ago that had a pack that seemed to be made out of either ABS or styrene. Does anyone know of a source that provides these?

Yes, Bradleyfett made vac JP, I'm not sure if he still makes them. Haven't seen him in a while.

    IIRC
MLC packs weigh in around 4.5 lbs
    Bobamaker is just above that
Surely, you can carry around 5 extra pounds
I carry an extra 50 lbs or so all day lol
    I gotta diet soon

Haha, well I'm around 6ft and 140lbs. I have a BM pack with improved harness. My scrawny frame is fine for awhile, but after a few hours, just can't take the added weight. I was downright jellous of that JP...

If you could just pass some of your weight my way it'd be a win/win.

    I wish
    I'm 5" 10"
    210
I have no prob with my MLC2 pack
    a decent harness system helps
My most hated costume piece is the neckseal
I can't wait to take that thing off

If you're feeling up to the challenge, why don't you try to make a pack yourself using the WoF templates? It's fairly easy to build, especially now that there's a decent selection of build threads to help you along, and the final pack weighs in the 5lb range.

I made mine, and it weighs in around 4.5lbs. Even with being 5'8" @ 160lbs, I can still wear this pack all day long.

I can get you in touch with Mark Bradley...he's here in the FL Garrison and I've spoken to him about buying one of his vac formed packs. I'm just not too sure about how well it will hold up. I'm sure it will be light though...It's b/w him, some other guy that is new and MLC for me. I can't afford BM's stuff!
