Hello, Fett brethren!
I'm starting another EE-3 build and I want to do this perfect, or at least perfect to how I want it [emoji12] a few questions before I get goin,
-What do you all use for the "blue-ing" effect on the main body of the blaster?
-What's the best way to get a really good rust tone on there?
-Also, is it more accurate to have a bronzed look or blued?

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it!
-Gav

For my EE3 I initially had a coat of satin black on mine as opposed a blued effect. For the weathering I applied different shades of greys and earth tones. For the rust I found a watered down mix of orange and browns worked well. I literally let it run into cracks etc and find its own path to way it wanted to go. The rifle is scratch built btw and so lacks some of the details found on the real Webley.

Okay cool! Yours looks really great especially for a scratchbuild. I was thinking of browns and oranges for rust but it's good to see a picture of it too. Thanks!

Now to just figure out the blue-ing or bronze [emoji14]

Real Webley's are steel so a brassy finish is incorrect. Try using Revell's Anthracite or Tar Black with a very light gun metal drybrush over the top.

Okay, I'll give those a shot! I did my whole blaster with gunmetal last time , but I think it came out TOO blue. Especially because I laid flat black down on all the accessories like the scope mounts, scope, discs, etc. So it looked odd. But I'll try those other 2 ideas out!
