Recently did two troops, one for my Garrison's room at Emerald City Comic Con. More on that one later. Last night I met up with Timberline Garrison out of Idaho for a troop at Treasure Valley Community College for their Star Wars Invades Treasure Vally event. It was almost 1000 mile drive round trip but I got to meet Mr. Fett himself, Jeremy Bulloch. Also there were Bonnie Piesse (young Aunt Beru), Paul Blake (Greedo), Mike Edmonds (Lograth). Mr/ Bulloch is as nice as his reputation. He and Paul Blake had a great rapport onstage for the panel, really they all did, it was fun. Got signed photos and pics, below. Somehow in the kerfuffel I neglected to get a pic with Mr. Edmonds. He was pretty fun to talk to as well, a bit sardonic. Mr. Blake had tons of energy and a wry wit, and Mr. Bulloch was pretty low key but quick with a subtle joke or jab at the other guys. He liked my costume and we talked about his, which he said is much lighter than the original. His wife is equally nice. They stayed pretty late signing and talking to fans.
An image of the panel discussion, they also took questions from the audience.

I didn't have him sign my armor or helmet because they're such works in progress and I didn't want to lose it. So I opted for a signed picture. In exchange for trooping, the event gave us "VIP" packages which included pics for signatures, the signatures ($20 otherwise) a poster, trading cards and a badge thing. I thought it was nice even though I was prepared to pay if needed. We posed for lots of pics with fans and answered a lot of questions about the 501st, our costumes and related topics.
