General UK/European ESB spray paint supplier or paint codes needed

Hey everyone,

having looked everywhere you simply cannot get the main rustoleum spruce green or hunt club green anywhere in europe. and seeing as you need lots of the spruce green, they work out about 40 euro a can if i have to order from the US.

has anyone found a UK./european alternative ????? im in ireland by the way.

i have an irish spray paint specialist who could even make some up for me if i can find the ral code or british standard code, but again i cant find them anywhere online.

surely there has to be plenty of Europeans who have made bobas and found paint to use.

anyone able to help me?????

Are you specifically wanting spray cans? If yes then Tamiya is one of the easiest to acquire I think.

Tamiya is a Japanese company. They make paints. Humbrol also do spray cans. About 60 odd colours I think.

you dont happen to know the exact shade of tamiya paint for esb do ya?

I don't. Their spray field gray is a candidate for ESB helmet main green (TS78 I think). I think Tamiya do 90 odd spray colours.

Buy humbrol paint pots paint some onto some 2" swatches and then take them to a wholesale car paint suppliers and get them to make up custom aerosol cans using thecswatches . They usually cost around £10 each

yeah . they usually spectrometers and densitometers to match paint hues

Try mixing paints together to get a nicer green . Darth vorhees nailed it imo in this link

Wow. Cool. I had always thought they might be ball park only

there may be a slight colour variation in the hue but the untrained eye couldn't telll the difference TBH. And weathered / misted with black

actually i did find the ral code aswell. its a generic code paint manufacturers use, so i could be able to get it made up that way also. but either way i think im sorted. cheers folks
