Staining tubing?

What is the method do others use to stain your tubing for you fett? I have mine sitting in coffee for about 4hrs now with no change of color. Looking forward for some answers! Thanks y'all

I tried the coffee staining....but got impatient. In order for the coffee to stain plastic, you'll need to keep it submerged for like a week.

I just went to my watered down acrylics and brushed it on.

Plus, if you keep the whole tube submerged, it will have an even colour. You'll want some varying shades.

Coffee takes a long time, plus it makes it sticky and smells like... you know. Coffee. Lol

I misted on some brown spray paint and brushed on some thinned down brown acrylic wash in a different shade. Then I dabbed some thinner onto a kitchen towel and randomly took away some paint to create the uneven look. The connectors were also aged with pastel chalk and matt clear.
