Small scratches and color parts.

I started my ROTJ helmet, and i tried to paint in the tiny green marks inside the silver, using a small brush. What i discovered, was that even with a small amount of paint on it, the precision is crap. The paint kinda flows out into sircles if i dab the brush on the helmet . How do you guys manage to get crisp and marked tiny pieces? This is my first attempt to paint a bucket so any tips at all, are welcome.

Have you tired less paint on the brush, or a different brush? I think brush selection is the key here.

Paint shapers, tooth picks, as well as super fine brushes are great. Paper clips, staples... Get creative.
