Shapeways 3D printed Mini Light

Got some more 3D printed parts today but wanted to make a specific post about this one since a few people showed interest. This is a the Ever Ready Minilight that I got from Rafalfett's Shapeways page. It cost $36 and is made in the Lower end material. At the time I didn't see the best material listed as an option but that would be $100.

The design itself is excellent. The print is not smooth as I expected with this material but since it is hidden in the gauntlet it isn't a big deal. It can be sanded and painted as well. It will take some work to make it into a functioning flash light I think. Thanks again to Rafalfett for all the work involved with making these designs!

Light I had hoped to shove in there and make work

Wow! Thanks for posting those images! The Eveready minilight looks better than I thought. You'll need to do some modding for the light to work, but nothing is impossible. Are the parts snapping together or there's some room between them?

They don't really snap together but I think they would if I used the other material. It does have a good bit of resistance to the fit so it isn't like it falls apart easily. I think it can be made to function as a flash light with a little bit of work.

What type of gauntlets are you using them in? Got some RKD' V2 that I'd like to put one in.
just looked at these again today on shapeways....

I have the new version of MOW gauntlets. I haven't tried to fit it up yet. Also got a 6050 Minilight now but that one doesn't have the words on the button like the 6051.
